GrandStay Hotel & Suites Cannon Falls

I checked in during a snow storm where travel was not in my best interest and was greeted w hotel receptionist Maddox who was friendly and accommodating. When leaving today, Chris at the front desk and the hotel staff who service the rooms, they were all very kind and personable.. and the room was clean and very nice. I would recommend this hotel!

A nice, comfortable, clean, and modern hotel! My only criticism is they run out of hot breakfast VERY early (by 8am) and don't restock. I think they may need to reconsider how they manage breakfast. But what they lack in the breakfast area they make up for with their nice bar and quiet rooms (we were across from the pool, full of kids, next to the ice machine, and didn't hear anything from inside the room). Love the king room with the soaker tub -- a little spa experience on vacation!

My husband and I recently took a road trip to the Cannon Falls area. We were traveling with our 12 year old Lab Retriever so we were looking for accommodations that accepted pets. GrandStay fit our needs perfectly. We reserved a suite for 2 nights. During our stay the staff from the time we checked in to the time we checked out were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the room which had a bright and cheerful appearance. We were also very happy with the selection of food at the breakfast provided. Although we did not take advantage of the pool and exercise room they were available for our use. If our trips bring us back to the Cannon Falls area we would definitely stay here again. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place for a night while traveling through or for a few nights as a home base while sightseeing in the area.

Chris deserves a raise and then some! My daughter forgot her stuffed animals and was very upset. We do not live close to the hotel. I called the hotel and asked if they could mail it or else my husband was going to drive the next day to pick them up. He said he wanted to personally deliver them to us. My husband met him in the cities. He truly was a life savor and was so kind of him to offer. Thanks so much Chris!

Well maintained. Nicely decorated lobby! Breakfast was pretty standard but they had various creamers, fresh strawberries and all the little extras for a good meal. They have pizza and drinks you can get in the evening, room had a microwave :) Sunday night stay was quiet.

10-15-2025 First time stay there. Location is a bit off the beating path but only a few minutes and very nice and quiet which is a must. The front desk team rep was Seira. She was very pleasant to talk to, handled the check in and request i had for staying at this hotel with allowing my ADA complaint service anamal and questions I had about the safety concerns and hot breakfast. She ensured me this hotel inside and outside in parking lot was safe and bug and criminal free... This was when I booked a room. Entry of hotel lobby was uo to date/very clean. The Queen Rooney is stayed in was a perfect fit for me with space and all needed layout and tv/bathroom. The whole experience was stellar and would highly recommend to others. From the time we checked in to the next morning, we did not have a TV that worked. We talked with the host at the desk and he kept telling us the maintenance man was gonna come out even at 11 o’clock at night. He said the guy was gonna come out, thank goodness we didn’t stay awake and no one came knocking on our door. We talked to the two gals in the morning and they fixed our TV and it worked ever since.

Room was very nice, bed was comfortable, pillows comfortable, air worked well and was not noisy, room was very quiet, nite shade blocked lite. Night lite in bathroom which is always nice. There were a lot of kids there for ball tournament and our room was very quiet. Definitely would stay again.
